Biography:

Dr. Abhijit Sahu has completed his PhD at the age of 28 years from Sambalpur University, Odisha and Joined as Project Research Scientist II in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has published 08 papers in reputed journals and invited as Resource person in national workshops.

Research Interest:

Dr. Abhijit Sahu’s research interests lie in the application of biotechnology and bioinformatics to understand metabolic disorders, with a growing focus on diabetes-related molecular mechanisms. His work integrates genomic and computational approaches to study biomarkers, gene expression patterns and metabolic pathways associated with diabetes and related endocrine conditions. He is particularly interested in leveraging bioinformatics tools for early disease detection, risk prediction and therapeutic target identification. With a strong background in molecular biology and microbial genomics, Dr. Sahu aims to contribute to innovative research that bridges biotechnology and precision medicine to advance the understanding and management of diabetes.
