Abstract Title: Cardiorespiratory Fitness, Inflammatory and Neurotrophic Biomarkers and Cognitive Function in Early Versus Longer Duration Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Biography:

Dr. Arbind Kumar Choudhary is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli, India. His research focuses on the interplay between metabolic disorders, cardiorespiratory fitness, and brain health, with a particular emphasis on type 2 diabetes and cognitive function. He has led several clinical and translational projects integrating exercise physiology, neurocognitive assessment, and biomarker profiling to understand mechanisms underlying diabetes‑related cognitive impairment and to inform preventive strategies.

Research Interest:

Dr. Arbind Kumar Choudhary’s research interests center on the intersection of metabolic disorders, exercise physiology and neurocognitive health, with a particular focus on type 2 diabetes and its impact on brain function. He is especially interested in understanding the mechanisms linking metabolic dysfunction with cognitive decline through clinical and translational research approaches. His work emphasizes the role of cardiorespiratory fitness, neurocognitive assessments and biomarker profiling in identifying early indicators of diabetes-related cognitive impairment. Additionally, he is committed to developing evidence-based preventive and therapeutic strategies that integrate lifestyle interventions to improve both metabolic and brain health outcomes.
