Biography:

I am Dr. Ibnul Shams, a Resident Doctor in Acute Medicine at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, UK). I graduated with an MBBS from FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore.

I have a growing interest in academic medicine and clinical research, with a focus on complex medical presentations, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice. This will be my second poster presentation, and I have previously published a case study in endocrinology, reflecting my commitment to contributing to the medical literature.

Research Interest:

Dr. Ibnul Shams’s research interests center on acute and internal medicine, with a particular focus on the management of complex medical presentations and improving patient outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration. He is especially interested in evidence-based clinical practice, integrating current research into frontline care and exploring diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in acute care settings. Additionally, he has a keen interest in endocrinology, as reflected in his prior case study publication and aims to further contribute to the medical literature through clinical research, case reports and poster presentations that enhance understanding of challenging medical conditions.
