Biography:
Dr. Luis Carlos Alvarado Echeona is a physician specialized in Family Medicine, with a distinguished track record in the field of primary health care. He currently serves as a primary care physician at the Gilberto Echeverry Mejía Medical Dispensary of the National Army of Colombia, where he carries out clinical activities focused on comprehensive care, prevention, and the timely management of chronic diseases.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Alvarado Echeona serves as a Medical Physiology instructor at Universidad El Bosque, contributing to the education of new generations of health professionals and strengthening the connection between academia and clinical practice.
His main professional focus centers on primary care and cardiometabolic diseases, with particular interest in early detection, comprehensive management, and patient education as key tools for improving population health outcomes.
