Biography:

Dr. Mariam Abu Jubain is a graduate from the University of Birmingham medical school in the United Kingdom. Mariam completed her foundation training in the West Midlands and her internal medicine training in the Southeast of England. She completed a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Dermatology at the University of South Wales. She is currently in her last year of training as a dermatology resident in the East Midlands. She has a passion for global health and tropical dermatology and is aspiring to complete a Global Health Fellowship upon completion of her training.

Research Interest:

Dr. Mariam Abu Jubain’s research interests focus on clinical dermatology, global health and tropical dermatology, with particular emphasis on improving dermatological care in diverse and resource-limited settings. She is interested in the diagnosis and management of skin diseases associated with tropical and infectious conditions, as well as the impact of global health disparities on dermatological outcomes. Her academic interests also extend to medical education, clinical research in dermatological disorders and advancing patient-centered approaches in dermatology practice.
