Biography:
Abdulla Alhamdan is a final-year medical student at Queen Mary University of London. He has recently completed his fifth year of medical school and will be undertaking his final-year elective prior to graduation. Abdulla completed a clinical foundation studies year before starting medical school. He has a strong interest in endocrinology and metabolic medicine and has worked on multiple research projects involving plastic surgery and endocrinology.
Research Interest:
Abdulla Alhamdan’s research interests focus on endocrinology and metabolic medicine, with particular emphasis on understanding the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of diabetes and other hormonal disorders. He is keen on exploring the intersection between metabolic health and surgical outcomes, especially in the context of plastic and reconstructive procedures. His academic interests also include clinical research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care. Additionally, he is motivated to contribute to translational research that bridges clinical findings with practical applications in modern healthcare.
